Please review the following information regarding germination issues, replacements, and eligibility.

Our Commitment

At Legacy Gardens, we are committed to providing high-quality cannabis genetics from trusted breeders. Because cannabis seeds are living organisms and germination is influenced by storage, handling, and growing conditions, we cannot guarantee 100% germination. However, we stand behind the quality of the genetics we sell and will work with customers whenever a legitimate issue arises.

Germination Issues

If germination is legal where you live and you believe you’ve experienced a genuine seed quality issue, please contact us within 45 days of purchase.

When submitting a request, please include:

  • Order number
  • Strain(s) involved
  • Germination method used
  • Photos (if available)
  • Any additional details that may help us evaluate the issue

Germination Policy

To qualify for consideration:

  • All seeds from the affected order must have been germinated.
  • Seeds must have been germinated within 45 days of purchase.
  • Seeds must have been germinated using the paper towel method.
  • We may request photos or other reasonable evidence showing your germination process.

Please Note

  • Cannabis seeds are live plant material.
  • We expect approximately a 90% germination rate from our breeders.
  • We recommend purchasing approximately 10% more seeds than you intend to grow to account for normal losses.

Replacement Guidelines

Replacement requests are reviewed individually:

  • Free promotional seeds are not eligible for replacement.
  • Replacement orders are not eligible for additional replacement seeds.
  • If repeated issues occur across many different breeders and strains, we may determine the issue is related to the germination process rather than seed quality.

Legacy Gardens reserves the right to approve or decline replacement requests at its discretion.

Planting seeds directly into soil voids our germination policy.

Our policy applies only when the paper towel germination method is used and our storage and germination recommendations have been followed.
